What Furrgus keeps when a salon connects Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp

The name and id of each Facebook Page, Instagram account or WhatsApp number the salon chose, which permissions were granted, the id Facebook gives the person who connected them, and an access key that lets Furrgus post and reply for the salon. The key is stored encrypted.

Posts the salon schedules, and the messages its customers send it, are kept in that salon's Furrgus account so its team can see and answer them.

Removing Furrgus's access

In Furrgus: open Social, find the account under Your accounts and press Remove. Furrgus deletes its stored key for that account straight away.

In Facebook: open Settings & privacy, then Settings, then Business integrations (or Apps and websites), and remove Furrgus. Facebook tells Furrgus, and Furrgus stops using the account at once.

Asking us to delete everything

Email [contact email] from the address your salon uses with Furrgus, or the address on the Facebook account that connected it, and say what you'd like deleted. We'll delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

If you're a customer of a salon that uses Furrgus, the salon controls your details. Ask the salon first; if you can't reach them, email us and we'll pass it on.
